The KMCH College of Nursing fosters experiential community-based learning by regularly placing students in a network of adopted rural and semi-urban communities, including Vagarayapalayam, Chinnayapalayam, Neelambur, Ganapathipalayam, Karichipalayam, and Veeriyampalayam. These immersive postings empower students to actively engage in delivering holistic primary healthcare, spearhead health education initiatives, and contribute to preventive and promotive health services. Through close collaboration with local populations, students cultivate essential public health skills, gain invaluable insights into grassroots health issues, and emerge as socially responsible, community-oriented healthcare professionals.
